Assignment #2
1 David LaChepelle – The reason I choose David LaChepelle is
because his style and photos are very unique. I also liked how most of his
portraits are of top famous celebs. Just taking a quick look at his portraits
it looks as if he really thinks outside the box. These photos are very creative
and it also looks like he puts lots of thought into what he is shooting. I really love his use of bright colors.
2 Richard Avedon – I choose Richars Avendon as a top
photographer because of his style in only shooting black and white. I think it
takes an amazing photographer to make photos like this work because a simple
black and white picture might not catch many peoples attention, but Avedon
makes this work wonderfully. I loved how his work is simple yet intriguing and
makes you want too look at more. My favorite portrait from Avedon is his Marilyn Monroe
portrait.
3 Elliot Erwitt – just like Avedon I like how Erwitt uses
black and white in his portraits. I think his photos are amazingly creative and
I like that he uses everyday locations for his photos. I also like the way he
works with light.
